Sometimes when folks upgrade, they prefer to have me haul the older equipment away. Old macs stay useful for quite a long time, especially after they're ReMac'd - I wipe them down and install a clean system. The Virginia Organizing Project takes donated computers and matches them with other non-profits, schools and community centers. This is a grassroots effort to get computers into the hands of those who wouldn't otherwise have access. Somewhere there are photos of previous truckloads, but this was the August 2002 haul.
